José Manuel El Sultán was born on January 27, 1974, in Boca de Yuma, La Altagracia province, Dominican Republic. He believes that art runs in his blood, as he feels he has been touched by it since he was in his mother’s womb. Participating in various festivals during his childhood, El Sultán consistently won top honors due to his immense talent.
