With over 20 years of experience as a self-taught entrepreneur and music industry executive, Julián Peña has made a significant mark on the Latin entertainment industry.

He began his career in 2004 in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, organizing high-impact events with renowned artists in the tropical and urban genres. He was also responsible for the promotion and positioning of numerous musical figures in the northern region of the country.

In 2010, he moved to New York, where he founded Chico Mambo Promotions Corp, a company through which he organized successful tours for Dominican artists in the United States, establishing himself as a key figure in Latin talent management.

The sustained growth of his operations led to the creation of Chico Mambo Corp, one of the most solid Dominican-led corporations in the United States. From there, he not only led tours and promotions but also structured merengue típico groups in the tri-state area, further strengthening his influence in the genre.

In 2018, he founded Chico Mambo Distribution LLC, a company dedicated to global music distribution, which now consists of two essential branches: Chico Mambo Records, responsible for the executive production of phonograms, and Chico Mambo Publishing, focused on the management of compositions and publishing rights. Always committed to expanding music from Colombia, he has led various projects that have promoted merengue típico, as well as other tropical and popular genres. In this line, he continues to strengthen the international reach of music through Chico Mambo Alianzas, a strategic initiative that connects cultures and fosters collaborations among Latin artists.

Beyond his business achievements, Julián Peña is recognized for his commitment to the community and leadership within the industry. He has been invited as a panelist at various conferences and professional events, sharing his vision and expertise. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards and recognitions for his contributions to culture and the development of Latin music. Today, he remains a leading figure among the most influential artistic entrepreneurs in the Dominican Republic and the United States, consistently demonstrating professionalism, vision, and dedication in each of his projects.
